Clann Eireann 1-10 Sarsfields 3-08
Trailing by six points, with twenty minutes remaining, Sarsfields made a dramatic comeback to win by four points at Clann Eireann Park. Thomas McAlinden sparked the game to life getting the touch on a free that was dropping short to send the ball to the net. Points from Michael Stevenson and Paul McGeown closed the gap to a point before Thomas McAlinden grabbed his second goal in a similar move to his first goal. This edged the Highmoss into the lead for the first time in the match. With a point in the match it looked like Colin Stevenson had sealed the victory with a goal from distance that had just dropped in. It transpired however that it was none other than Thomas McAlinden who had got the final touch for his third goal.

The Fair Play award goes to Liam Murray. When asked by the referee had the ball gone out of play for a line ball before a Highmoss equalising point. Liam truthfully informed the ref that it had gone out and the point was struck off. Liam pointed out that we still would win and there would be no dispute.
