JF Mathers still a proud Highmoss man

Sarsfields recently received a request for some club gear from Michael Kelly in the U.S.A. Michael is a grandson of Joseph Francis Mathers and he wanted the club gear for his grandfather. His grandfather is now living in Pittsburgh and who is now ninety-four years young. JF Mathers has fond memories of the Highmoss and his grandson has also dropped in at Sarsfields when he was back in Ireland in 2000. JF has proved there is no age barrier to using modern technology and regularly keeps in contact with his cousin Henry McGeown from Derrycrow by email. Maybe some of our club members could consider taking to the computer keyboard. JF Mathers was delighted with the club tie and he is still proud to wear the Sarsfields colours. We wish JF the best of health and hope he can wear his tie with pride for many years.
